Many people love to take their pets with them when they leave in their cars. But what a lot of people don't know is how many people are driving dangerously because of the pet. Most pets don't like to stay in one place and love to roam around the car. This can cause a driving hazard because they often get under the drivers feet or up in their lap. Pets can get under the brake pedal or push down on the gas pedal and make the used car go out of control. Pets in a drivers lap is also a hazard and in a couple of states there are laws against it. Driving with a pet in your lap is distracting and causes the driver to not pay complete attention to the road.
Drivers should restrain their pets at all times and this is best done with a good harness and the seat belt.
You should also never leave your dog in a hot car in the summer because they can suffocate or suffer a heat stroke. If you have to leave your pet in a car make sure you leave the windows cracked so fresh air can come in and also leave them some water.

Finding a used Ford
Looked for a used Ford Edge today and the salesman tried to raise the price up. No good, and then I went to a local place in Knoxville, tn and looked at another idea. I looked all day at most dealerships and did not find what I am looking for. Jim Cogdill Dodge had a lot of cars as so did Ted Russell Ford.
